Stephen Lundeen – USA

We have returned exhausted but exhilarated. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The activities, people and landscape were different each day. Our time in the Durban area was a change of pace from Kruger, but just as enjoyable. As you know, the kids and I went on the canopy adventure in Karkloof while Sally conferenced. The day we all spent in the 1000 Hills was lovely. We also took a day and went to Eshowe and got a cultural tour that included the market and a trip into the Zulu villages. The tour of Soweto on Sunday with Lyn's people offered an eye opening experience as well. We are now home organizing our pictures and sharing gifts that we brought back with friends and family. Thank you again for all your assistance (often at the last minute) to help make this a most enjoyable experience for all of us. We could not have had the experience that we did without your help.

Angela Beckett – Australia

Once again I'd like to thank you for what turned out to be a fantastic trip. We thought the game park sections of our trip were amazing and we'll definitely be back at some point. Next time we'll definitley spend more time in Cape Town and look at doing the Garden Route. seventeen days just wasn't enough time... The Pondoro/Nottens game viewing experiences were fantastic. We saw more, got much closer than we thought we would even though we were visiting in summer and after rain. The two lodges complemented each other nicely, and of course we got to see the leopard at Nottens which we did not (and were very unlikely to ) at Pondoro. We could not fault the accommodation/service at either lodge. Both provided wonderful small group experiences.

Jonathan Creel - UK

I very much enjoyed my visit to Riebeeck Kasteel. The town was very pleasant and welcoming, folk were friendly and it felt very safe to walk around alone. I did say to Fiona that actually some walking ‘trails’ would be good for tourism, beautiful scenery but a shame you could only enjoy it by car. The accommodation was fine, food superb and very good standards. Service at the bistro was great and the food was good at the other places in town in ate too.

Susan Smith – Singapore

We had an amazing holiday and it was far better than we expected!

Pedro Marcondes – Brazil

It was all great. The itinerary was very well planned by AfriXplorer meeting my demands. Doing a “self-drive” as suggested gave me a good idea about what the country is. There were 3 000 km on the road of pure diversity of land and people. Staying at the nice game lodges right in the heart of the savanna was so exciting, and after that, the most unique experience I have had probably in the past 10 years: crossing Kruger Park “self driving”. Congratulation Lourens!

Heather Hardwick – Australia

Thank you for your attention to our needs in South Africa. Today I am going to our local travel agent to show her our photos and my journal and will certainly recommend you to her for people our age. The pace of the tour was perfect, and the places we stayed at were very pleasing. Molly & Conor O’Hagen-Ward at Colonial on Arundel deserves top rating. Kindly pass on to Lorenz our sincere appreciation for all the assistance he gave us, and to our friends Pam and Peter in particular, when Pam got sick in Kynsna. Pam is home now and will take some time to regain full health. Thanking you once again. Your tour company is marvelous.

Ian Jeffries - Australia

We had a great trip which apart from the health issue with our friend Pam, far exceeded our expectations! We arrived home a couple of days ago & are over the worst of our jet lag & have partly caught up with all the normal post travel issues. We would definitely recommend both the Garden Route with yourselves, the De Wildt Cheetah sanctuary and the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. We already have some friends expressing an interest in a South African holiday – though they do not use the internet! South Africa & the Garden route drive ranks as one of our best holidays. Thank you very much for your help in organizing such an enjoyable and memorable trip.

Marin Hensens – The Netherlands

Thanks Elfriede, the holiday was great and we were really happy with your service! The comments I have about the accomodation are no major things, but I'll write them down anyway as it might be useful information for you. Considering the "last minute" booking in high season it was really great what nice accomodation you came up with! We will surely recommend you to friends and family coming over!

HK Travel - Sweden

AfriXplorer has three times in an exellent way helped us to organize group tours with 25 to 35 pax through South Africa. These 15-day tours included Johannesburg, Mpumalanga, Kruger National Park, Swaziland, KwaZulu-Natal, Garden Route, Winelands and Cape Town. We have also used their services for a small party doing their “own” tour by car. Also here it has been very well planned to and to the best satisfaction of the family. We can highly recommend them as your tour operator if you are planning a tour to SA.

Avi Inbar – Israel

We appreciate Lourens’ professional job to arrange us a wonderful tour to South Africa.

Orla Tully – Ireland

Thanks so much for everything - we had a wonderful time. In fact, the weather was better than we had expected. In Shamwari it was really sunny with temps > 31 deg C and we also had fine and sunny weather in Knysna and the Klein Karoo. In fact, we only experienced rain on two of the afternoons - which was the evening we arrived in Franschhoek (which didn’t bother us as we spent that evening inside in the Quartier Francais restaurant) and the following evening when we arrived in Cape Town. The subsequent days in Cape Town were really fine and clear. I can honestly say we couldn’t say anything about the tour. Shamwari was top class, as was the Radisson and Cape Town. The Red Stone Hills farm in the Klein Karoo was also very high in our enjoyment rating, really beautiful and authentic and we would have liked to stay there longer as you had originally suggested but it was just wasn;t possible this time. Once again, thanks to you and Elfriede - it was fantastic holiday/ honeymoon for us. We had no issues and you were most attentive in ensuring we were alright etc. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone here interested in visiting SA.

Bruno Boedts – Madagascar

We arrived back savely in Tananarive and I resumed work yesterday. I would like to thank you for your assistance during our trip to South Africa. It was a success. The itinerary was perfect and all accomodations very good. We were very lucky with the weather. Thank you again. We will certainly recommend AfriXplorer to our friends.

Jill Wurtenberg – USA

Our South Africa trip (Botswana, CPT, GR, etc) was absolutely amazing. The hotels exceeded our expectations by far. We were delighted you met us at the airport after our long flight. We have already recommended your services to our friends and family.

Werner & Ingrid Wobbe – Belgium

This trip will stay for long time in our memory. Thank you very much for all the care you have provided and the well chosen locations and different types of suggestions that made the tour memorable as well as outstanding.

Jill & Harris Smith – USA

The tour was phenomenal and we would recommend your services wholeheartedly. We were delighted that you met us personally at the Johannesburg airport to give us all our travel documents and that you checked in with us throughout our travels to make sure everything was acceptable and to relay any news of import to us.

Our accommodation was beyond our expectations, the service we experienced at each property was unsurpassed, and the beauty of the country and our game drives were a 10 on a 10 point scale.

Hervé Queruau – France

Thanks again for your good organisation, all the family was delighted of the journey. Best part was of course parks, wildlife is wonderful.

Julie & Ross Davidson – Singapore

Our South African trip was absolutely wonderful. The self-drive part, which we did in the first week, worked out very well. All of the accommodation was quite unique and of an excellent standard.

The highlight in terms of accommodation this first week would have to be the farm stay in the Redstone Hills. We arrived at this accommodation right on dusk, and the owner welcomed us warmly and drove us out to our own little farm house where the table was already set and the food was all waiting for us to put onto our fire and “braai”. We had a very memorable evening here with friends that travelling with us, sitting in front of the open fire and chatting about the day's adventures which had included a stop off at the unique Ronnie's sex shop - what a great guy!

To accompany our meal we had some wonderful South African wine recommended during our wine talk with your daughter’s friend, Donovan. I have to say we were all very impressed with the wine area and I now look out for the South African wines when dining out.

We were most appreciative of your careful attention both before and during our trip. It was clear to us that you were listening to our requirements and designed an itinerary to fit our needs. We would have no hesitation in recommending your services to any other travellers.

Debbie Grant & Gary Strider

We had a trip of a lifetime! Everything was superb and we really appreciated everything you did for us. Your suggestions were perfect and you designed a most incredible tour for us. Thank you once again for everything, your company is definitely first class and if any of our friends are planning a trip to South Africa we will indeed recommend your services to them

The Keiller family – Australia

Thanks Lourens for all your help. We had an absolutely unbelievable trip and loved every minute.

Grant Gundersen & Family – Norway

Our general summing-up is that we had a fantastic tour which more than met our expectations. Both game viewing, driving through both SA and Swaziland gave us a lot of impressions. We met friendly people that learned us much about your nature, history, what are the challenges now etc
